PROJECT REQUIREMENT
This project required a number portable hoppers for bulk resin storage to provide a more efficient solution to their process, but with the ability for the resin to be sucked out via a vacuum and into their production line.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
Advantage Plastics worked alongside Pack Tech Mouldings to design a resin vacuum box to suit their requirements, this was manufactured from Stainless Steel with an 60mm diameter entry tube for their vacuum pipe to fit into and with also a polycarbonate hinged entry door for a when a complete clean out is required between product runs. This was then fitted to our 1600L side discharge hopper as it could hold the full capacity of a 1000kg bulk bag of resin which they receive from their supplier.
